Average soil (±)-catechin for each burn treatment, for each month of the sampling season, and for each distance from C. stoebe individuals. Samples were taken in mid-May, mid-June, mid-July, and mid-August 2017 at Pierce Cedar Creek Institute in Barry County, Michigan. Collection of May and June soil samples occurred before spring and summer burn dates, respectively.
